Nice to meet you!
I am a programming, Artificial Intelligence and Design Thinking teacher in Ghent. You can usually find me in my classroom as a full-time teacher at Sint-Lievenscollege or as an external assistant at the University of Ghent. In my spare time I am endlessly fascinated by education, photography and (anamorphic) videography. A hobby that got out of hand or rather, I turned my interests into my profession. Who knows?
Education
Since 2016 I have been working as a programming teacher in Ghent. There I combine my knowledge and motivation to constantly develop new projects for my students. Online lesson packages JavaScript or Python? Check! Lessons about artificial intelligence (AI) in secondary school? Check! Latin lessons in Minecraft or product design in virtual reality? Check and double check!
The latter project was even picked up by the King Baudouin Foundation and the National Lottery. But judge for yourself!
Videography
Film has always fascinated me. What camera do they use? How do you take that kind of shot? How can I best tell my story? Since 2016 I have been working as a graphic designer and cameraman. Videos for companies, interviews, but also video clips for artists. Personally, I prefer to work with anamorphic lenses. These lenses, due to their specific distortions and bokeh, give the image a 'cinematic' look.

Although my heart is in videography, I keep going back to my camera for portrait work, wedding photography, events ...
